The Department of Science and Technology-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) is pleased to announce the list of Qualified Examinees for the 2026 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination. Through this competitive examination, talented young Filipinos will be supported in pursuing higher education in priority programs in STEM.

For FY 2026, DOST-SEI has been allocated a budget of PhP 7.6 billion. With this amount, DOST-SEI can accommodate 8,500 incoming first-year students, while continuing to support ongoing scholars. This community includes 48,520 undergraduate, 4,414 master’s, 1,438 doctoral, and 329 foreign graduate scholars.

Over the past five years, DOST-SEI has supported an average of 51,300 scholars annually. With the incoming cohort of new scholars, the agency will give assistance to a total of 54,307 scholars in 2026.

DOST-SEI reminds all qualified examinees that we are observing a “No test permit, no signed parental consent and waiver form, no exam” policy. Test permits and parental consent and waiver forms will be distributed via email on the following dates (from 10AM to 10PM):

Applicants from Saudi Arabia are not included on this list. Confirmation of their examinee status and test center assignment will be communicated via email.
